Whileit will be too hot in May in Delhi, it depends how much heat you can bear.Any way there is no cause for alarm about personal safety from that heat..

i am born and bought up in delhi n i swear i dont run away to some other place in summers......its true dat the heat is much at dat time but i am surviving here live n kikking for last 24 yrs.

If you've ever wondered whats it like to be stuffed inside a barbeque(tandoor) then by all means come here in May. Whats  more is you will also discover you have sweat glands in places you never knew was possible. Even cooler, when you get back to the place you came from while your friends are talking about the shopping they did at their vacation spots  you can show the scar you'd have running from one end of your shoulder down to your waist from the seat belt which you will soon discover can also make a pretty good branding iron.  BUT YEAH DON'T WORRY YOU'LL SURVIVE IF YOU DON'T LOSE YOUR MIND.
