My husband and I will be in Denver for our 5th anniversary and would like to figure out a nice place to eat that night. Price doesn't matter but neither of us like sushi. Any suggestions are welcome!

  1. My husband and I love

Vesta Dipping Grill in LoDo at 1822 Blake St

for quiet romantic dinners. It has a hip urban feel to it and is not as formal.

    The Broker Restaurant which is

inside an historic bank building with a stellar wine cellar and beautiful setting. The broker is a more old fashioned elegant setting.

Here is a link to citisearch's list of the most romantic restaurants in the Denver area.

If you want to venture out of the city and don't mind driving for 35 minutes then  The Old Stone Church is amazing!! We have had 2 anniversary dinners there. (married for 27 years)

    210 Third St  Castle Rock, CO 80104  (303) 688-9000

Fantastic American cuisine served in a 120 year old church. You will need reservations and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Well worth the drive and the Castlerock Outlet Mall is close by too!

    Happy anniversary! Enjoy Denver.

  2. If you are from the East or Bible Belt ,do ask locals for a good Mexican resestuant . I'm from the West cost and have been living in NY for over 10 years. I have never had good Mex in the East. Colorado and California have great Mexican food. What to try exotic meats? "The Fort " is fun .

  3. check yahoo! local for some ideas of restaurants in your area!  good luck and congratulations!!!

  4. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, the best steakhouse in the US. The meat melts like butter in your mouth. Great service.
