I will be in ocho rios on vacation from sept 4 thru sept 8th can anyone tell what the weather is expected to ?

be during that time. My husband and I will be on the honeymoon we didn't get 4yrs ago. I pray the weather will cooperate.

Unfortunately, the forecast shows rain for most of the next seven days. But of course the forecast is pretty iffy when you looking at it five days from now. I hope it works in your favor.

It should be sunny by then, it usually is,  but come with an open mind as this is hurricane season. I would suggest that you plan a wet weather activity schedule as backup just in case there is more liquid sunshine than you expected. You can also check the weather on the Internet. Remember your vacation is what you make it.

I've been there several times, and it is the same every time in the summer.

Great weather.  80F - 85F in the day time.  74F - 79F during the night.  It will rain many days between 3pm and 5pm (just like Florida).  You will get surprise rainfalls during the night or very early morning.  The temperature may drop one degree when it rains.  One hurricane usually hits Jamaica every year, sometimes two.  Keep that in mind.

Oh, also, FYI--since Jamaica is relatively closer to the equator, there is little variation in when the sun rises and falls (dawn and dusk).  Expect the sun to rise and fall around 6-7:30am/pm everyday, depending on season.  Also there is very little variation between the temperatures during winter and summer.  The temp varies by about two degrees, sometimes three.  Summer is the cheapest time to travel to Jamaica.

The sun will shine.  It will be hot and humid.  Just make sure you get out and see the countryside, don't stay couped up in that all inclusive hotel.  Flowing skirts, easy hair style, light to no make-up, khaki shorts and cute blouses . . . call my favorite tax-tour guide Glenroy Coleman 1-876-350-5964.  I go to Ocho several times a year.  Get on your plane, relax and enjoy.
