I will be in southern part of Spain end of Sept. Which beaches will be better options?

I may go from Seville or Granada. Which beaches are better options? What temperature will it be by end of Sept? Will it be too cold to go into water? Besides, if I go from the south towards Valencia, will there be good options along the way?

Your better option is Granada.. Seville is no where near the beach, it has a river that goes Thur it.. But you can always stay in Seville and drive to either Cadiz or Huelva and go tot eh beaches there.. It will still be warm during that time.. NOT HOT but warm enough to enjoy the weather..

End of September you can swim in the western mediterranean, no doubt. For the weather check www.inm.es, the meterological institute. From Malaga to Valencia ther is so much to see, that I only can suggest to look into travel guides, into the pages of Spain Turism and to go locally to the turist offices. Along yor way will be more options than you can take. The autopista/autovia (IInterstate in the US) is not directely on the coast. Check the yahoo-maps, buy a map of Spain to plan your routing!

In the Southern most part of Spain it may still be warm enough to swim,but the more near you get to Valencia the colder it will be.Once you get as far northeast as Alicante,the water temperature will be too cold to swim.I know,I live in Valencia,and have been to all the beaches from here to as far South as you can go.I have also been to Seville (I have a good friend that lives there.)Granada is just too hot in the summer,and too cold in the winter.

I live in Spain (Costa Del Sol) and I've been told the beach at Mazagon is fabulous. Mazagon is near the Donana National Park south of Huelva. I'm going to go over Christmas. To get to Huelva you must go through Sevilla (Seville)
