My cats an indoor cat online and about a year old, she is in very good health and up to date with all her shoots, none of my friends are able to watch her and most of them are terrible allergic so they couldn't even check on her, if I leave her enough food and water do you think she would be ok? Do you have any suggestions?

  1. fill at least 4 bowls. 2 w/ water & 2 w/ food. and make sure b4 u leave that u clean the litterbox!!!!

  2. that's ok leave lots of food and water and make sure her kitty box is nice and clean.

  3. Yes, that's fine.  Just leave food and water (I leave the tap on in the bathroom on a trickle for mine) and clean her litter box.

  4. Yes your cat should definitely be fine. I have to leave my cats home every once in a while for similar reasons and just clean the litter right before I leave and leave a salad bowl size of food and water as well as a few regular size bowls filled with water in places the cats may look for water. Cats are good at staying home alone. Oh and if it tends to get hot in your house, I would leave a fan or two on or turn the AC on so that the cat doesn't get too hot in there.

  5. I think she will be fine alone with plenty of water and food.

  6. I agree with many of the other Answerer's with one addition.  Be sure the litter pan/box is fresh before you leave.  Are you sure you'll be away only 36 hours or so?

    All the Best.

  7. yea as long as u leave enough food out

  8. yes ur cat will be ok if you leave er eenough water it's mainly the water she needs becase she can get dehidrated quickly and make shore leave on the air unit because its extremly hot out side and a good amount of water and she will be fine so dont worry;)

  9. Assuming you mean that you're leaving on Saturday and coming back the very next day (Sunday night), then that's no problem.  Cats won't eat everything in the bowl like dogs do.  They eat a little and come back later.  Just make sure that there is more than enough water for her.  Maybe leave a few extra bowls out - or the toilet seat up (my cat drinks from it if I don't put the lid down).  And clean the litter box right before you leave so it's clean enough for her (some cats are picky and will go somewhere else when it's too full).

  10. i've left my cat alone way longer.just make sure your cat has lots of food and water . :)

  11. Many people do this and their cats are just fine, as long as they're healthy and don't need any special care.  I personally don't like leaving mine alone for more than a day, without someone at least checking on them, and one of mine needs a daily medication so someone at least has to come and do that.

I'm sure your kitty would be fine if you leave plenty of food and water, a clean litter box, and make sure nothing is left out that she could get into.
