What is the best service and also has shorter contracts or one that I can cancel easily without a huge fee if I leave early?

  1. pre paid would be best, alot of the companies have deals where you buy $30 credit and get a $120 or more credit, depends where you are for the one with the best coverage, l have found optus to be the best coverage and vodafone the least amount

  2. Prepaid

  3. Go prepaid - no contracts at all.

Main ones are::::  Virgin, Telstra, Optus

    http://www.telstra.com.au/telstraprepaid...

  4. Prepaid  would be the best for you no contracts.

Each company has prepaid mobiles so you can chose whomever you like to go with. Or change at any time.

  5. you beat up a bum on the street and flog his mobile

  6. Virgin, Telstra and Optus all have prepaid phones. You purchase the phone then buy a card for a set amount say$AU 20.00 which you use until you require additional card which you would then purchase. I usually have my phone transferred to overseas lines when travelling but this is more expensive for a long term stay.Welcome to Aussie.

  7. Pre paid is the best. I think Vodafone has some of the best deals for pre paid. You can buy a sim card for $2 in some places. You can recharge with $49 and get about $300 worth of credit to use.. I enjoyed it while i was on it
