Looking for something close to public transport, within walking distance to good schools, park, library, caffes, grocery stores etc. with european flare and feel.A safe place to rise a child but also close to all that Toronto has to offer.

  1. Yikes, hard to give advice without an idea of budget! You might want to try the area between St.Clair and Eglington along Yonge street. There's usually some affordable apartments through there but the houses are super expensive - so you get the best of both worlds in terms of affordability in a good neighbourhood. Close to transit, lots of parks and green space, lots of cafes, grocery stores, library, etc. there are a lot of people out with strollers.

    Try websites like:

    http://www.viewit.ca/

    http://www.gottarent.com/on/toronto/

    http://www.rentersnews.ca/

  2. The words "safe" and "Toronto" does not exist in the same sentence anymore. That disappeared years ago. Go to Newmarket.

  3. towns like newmarket, aurora and richmond hill are great places for families with children. prices can range, but these places arn't too far from toronto.. but still provide public transit
