I will be staying in Zurich & want to visit the Giger Museum in Gruyères. What's the best way to get there?

  1. You can take the train there, however, the schedules might not work out so well. The train up to Gruyères is smaller so it isn't as frequent. But, if you don't want to rent a car then take the train. It's easy to drive to if you get directions (See the link below) and there's ample parking. It warrants a daytrip if it's sunny and you can visit the Gruyère cheese factory as well, and if you like chocolate you can drive to the Nestlé Cailler's factory in Broc which is a few minutes away. There's also a castle in Gruyères, many lovely restaurants, and a stunning view.
