  1. I agree with "kaykay". it will be difficult to find a room in Paris for 4 months.

Maybe you will find some information here : http://en.parisinfo.com/

  2. Hello,

You have to know it's really difficult to find a place to live in Paris... Most of Parisian people I know have their appartment because they knew someone who knew someone who had an appartment to rent. You can check on these website which purpose some appartements to rent but I'm sure it's gonna cost you a lot: www.parisattitude.com/FR/  www.lodgis.com/fr/paris

    paris.lesiteimmobilier.com/

An other tip is to begin to sleep in an appart'hotel", it's 20 euros for a night and you have an appartment entirely cleaned  everyday with a litlle kitchen and a bathroom. It's something like 20 square meter.

  3. Apartments  in Paris for rent:

    http://www.24paris.com

    http://www.rentcom.info/rentalsparis/ren...

  4. "Foyer des jeunes travailleurs" - kind of YMCA -

google for "Centrale des foyers" which coordinates all availables beds in Paris area

"Auberges de Jeunesse" could be useful too.

  5. 4 months ! it would be very hard to find an  apartment only for 4 months !

a cheap place ! very difficult too !!

You have to forsee 800 € by month to have a correct appartment (2 rooms, 30m²)

Where will your job be (which place in paris)?

Maybe i can tell to you the cheapest places near your job place...

  6. How about finding a host family?

I don't know if you are a college student or not but if you are that would be really easy to do.

  7. rent an apartment.

I've worked with francehomesstyle.com and they were great . its much cheaper than a hotel plus they have cooking and laundry availability as options.

Good luck, should be a blast. let me know if you find other openings for work and I'll join you. :-)

  8. The best for short-term rentals would be to check http://paris.craigslist.org/ because it is full of Americans and British/Irish living there short term as well, so when they leave their place you can replace them and keep the furniture. And word of mouth in the English-speaking community helps. Good luck!

    Oh, try also http://www.fusac.org/
