Ancelotti is in search of a new club after he was sacked as the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boss in May 2011. The 52-year-old is heavily linked with a managerial role at the Stadio Olimpico Rome after growing rumours about Luis Enrique’s sacking.
Enrique has had a tough ride managing the Capital club and the fans have started losing patience with him. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 B coach was handed the managerial duty before the 2011/12 season and he was handed the task of implementing
a brand new philosophy.
Ancelotti confirmed that he wants to manage the Giallorossi one day because he had a great time at the club during his playing years. The Italian spent almost eight years at Rome and made 171 appearances for the club. The former
Juventus boss admitted that his former employers are in trouble but he has demanded patience from the fans.
Ancelotti believes that Enrique should be given some time for his new project because he feels that it is taking the club towards the right direction.
While talking to the reporters, Ancelotti said, “One day I will be the Coach of Roma, because it remains a club where I was very happy as a player. But now my desire is to work in the Premier League. Roma are in a difficult situation,
because everything has changed: the club, players, Coach and even their philosophy of football. Difficulties were to be expected, but it takes calm because they’re on a tough road, but I believe it is also the right one.”
The veteran tactician had a very successful coaching spell with A.C Milan. Carletto spent almost 8 years at the San Siro and helped them to win eight major trophies including two UEFA Champions League triumphs.
