Juventus talismanic striker and Captain, Alessandro Del Piero, revealed his intentions to keep playing football even if his time in Turin is over at the end of the season. Del Piero’s contract with the Turin giants expires in June next year and the club
President, Andrea Agnelli, has no plans of renewing his contract.
Agnelli has already announced his departure from Turin recently in a meeting with the directors and the stakeholders of the club. Captain’s future.
“I can say with certainty that I will continue to play football,” said the legendary Juventini.
The prolific hitman turns 37-years-old on November 9 and it is reckoned that he will probably spend his ending season at the American MLS (Major League Soccer). However, it is not confirmed yet as there are many other outfits interested in signing Del Piero.
The striker was recently talking to channel TG1 where he revealed his future plans. The attacker said:
“From June 30 2012 I will still be a football player. I’ll have time to think about it, but regardless of the club I can say with certainty that I will continue to play football.”
There are numerous reports regarding the possible destinations for Del Piero for the next season. It is reckoned that his hometown outfit and former team, Calcio Padova, are interested in bringing him back to Stadio Euganeo. Moreover, some reports from Italy

his intentions openly to the media. Moreover, the Major League Soccer (MLS) is also a key destination for the Bianconeri captain as USA needs star players. MLS being the sole promoter of football in USA will keenly welcome a legend like Del Piero.
