I will stay there 3 days during official conference. Then I am planning to stay 2 extra days on my own cost just to move around, and get some idea on the country/city. Where should I go and what I should eat. ( I am a Bangladesh, stayiong at New York) and I dont /cant spend more than 200 US $ for those extra days. (better if it is less than 200$).

I need tips, please?

  1. You will do fine in Peru for two hundred dollars  for the two days accomodation and food. Its not at all an expensive place to visit and neither is food costly.

  2. coo;

  3. Well it all depends where you stay. J.W. Marriott is where i stayed and it is directly across the street from "la'co mart" is how its pronounced in English. that is a out door mall deal built into the cliffs along the shore line. very nice view. Ask a cab to take you to the Indian market, lots of ethnic Peruvian stuff, Alpaca furs and such... very cultural. Then i don't remember the name but there is "technology mart" where you can get boot leg dvd like not in theaters yet new for 1.50 usd and another perk of that mart is lacosse is made in peru so theres a lot of real clothing for cheap. i bought a nice shirt for 6 bucks usd. our 1 dollar is worth 3.5 soles so money goes far! ps. dont drink any thing thats not bottled

  4. You can take a train ( 12 hours),or a flight (about an hour ) to Machu Piccu. Eat at La Rosa Nautica in Miraflores if you want seafood in a classy place.A very good place for seafood the locals eat at is Punta Azul.Your budget will go a long way there,prices are very reasonable.For entertainment,go to Atlantic City Casino and Convencion Centre,they just opened the new part March 26. Eddie,Juan and  Violeta will make sure you have a Great time!

  5. The Indian market, as well as the leather market are both fun to explore. You can catch a tour from any hotel. The (Naut?) Lines would be great to visit. Once in a lifetime trip. I spent a month in S.A. last November.
