  1. sure u can interview me u know what i loved homeschool, i got to do errands with mom all day, then come back at like 2 and do a little bit of work.

  2. I'm homeshcooled and hate it!There is only a few reasons I like it

1)Sleep late and stay up later

2)When you get a job work pretty much whenever

3)Flexibility in my schedule,I can pretty much go places during the day that I wouldn't be able to if I was in public school

  3. i was homeschooled for a while...

    Advantages --

    * your schedules really flexible. like it was easier for me to get babysitting jobs and stuff, because i could do it during the schoolday and just do my schoolwork afterwards, unlike public school students.

    * Its less complicated. at public school, getting grades straightened out, doing detention, making up work and tests, teachers being evil (well, i guess that could count for parents, too XD)

    * theres alot more options, you can take languages not available at your school, or other classes that arent offered at a normal school.

    * its alot easier on parents, they dont have to worry about taking me or dropping me off at school.

    * theres always drama, but theirs ALOT less stress when your not immersed in it every single day. i was much happier when i was homeschooled :)

    * you end up learning ALOT more, its pretty much impossible to cut class, or fake sick, without having to make it up later :)

    Disadvantages :

    * theres the whole experience! most people say high school shapes your character and prepares you for the real world.

    * its alot harder to make friends and be social

thats all i can think of right now, if you have anymore questions  you can just email me :)

  4. I am being homeschooled in high school due to my school being destroyed in a hurricane a few years back

    So yeah very opinionated

    All Right

Homeschool is very effective if the parent or teacher if they arent then it is a waste of time and you are just dumbing your kid down but if they are the child will get a better education and more one on one time to understand things better

public school is better with the getting the kids out there better life experience/prep in a situation where they can make their own choices but that can also be solved if you were to say get them in a club or a team of some sort so they can have experience dealing with many different types of people

if you decided to get classes on dvd that does NOT mean the parent/teacher can not pay attention too....it is surprisingly easy to not pay attention to those things and then you are screwed...so pay attention...they are really good if you get the right ones

but well if you have any more specific questions I will be glad to answer them for you

    have a nice day ^-^

  5. I was home schooled my whole life, so I can't really tell you the advantages and disadvantages between that and public school. I will say that I think I would have gotten a better education if I had gone to public school, only because my mom didn't put my siblings and I through any kind of home school program. There were seven of us, so her time was very limited seeing as how she was the only teacher. And also, I think we would have better social skills if we had been sent to public school, because my parents didn't put us in any kind of activities outside of school. But overall, I think home schooling is a good thing. :-)

  6. I have no disadvantages. I have only been homeschooling for two years, but I wish I had started way earlier. I graduate this year with an accredited diploma and I have lost no social interaction as a result of my choice to homeschool, like some people believe. As long as a child's parents maintain a social life (through scouting, sports teams, or other group activities) and stress the importance of self discipline, home schooling is amazing. For the high school years, I suggest correspondence based programs. They are self paced, so some kids need a little shove every now and then. But ultimately, the work is no harder than public/private school and lifetime skills of self-reliance and self-discipline.

  7. I am home-schooled and I absolutely love it! I'm graduating this year and have been home-schooled since 6Th grade! I am easily able to hold down my job and do school work when I get home from work! It has made my life a lot easier because my family and I are able to go on vacations whenever we want and not have to wait til were out on break! My sister is also home-schooled and she loves it too!

  8. Shoot..

    Advantages =

    - Was easier on my parents, didn't have to worry about picking me up/dropping me off

    - Payed the "teacher" just as much as childcare would have cost (after school child care0

    - I learned more, when I hit High School I was way ahead of my grade. (One on one teaching/learning is a huge difference)

    - I was able to do more with my time, no recess or traveling time (between classes, to school, back from school). I would just do the work and then move on to having fun
