Pawn shops dun actually buy in jade. All that they will pay for is the gold that comes with it. I've gotten it appraised at a few shops already. The value is around S$1K-S$2K. The only problem is getting a buyer as there ain't many shops tat buy in old jade pieces.

  1. sell it on e-bay.

  2. Go to Ebay if you want good deals and good price. But you need to have a good picture of your jade product and a swell write up.

    Best of luck !

  3. Jade is a semi precious stone. I'm afraid you can't sell it any where unless to friend or relative but you won't be able to get 1K to 2K back.

  4. No shop is willing to buy it because no one wears jade anymore.

  5. try pawn shop? or antique shop? how much u selling it for?

  6. Have a appraisal done on it before you try to sell, then check with antique shops, or put an ad in the paper. A jeweler, is a good place to begin. Someone you know you can trust.

  7. ebay auctions are great you can even set a basse price that you want sell below

  8. ummmmmmm.........ebay

  9. Yes, I have an idea.  First get it appraised and get a certificate of it's value and provenance.  Then find a consignment shop that takes a reasonable cut and try to sell it there.

    Or, there's always ebay.

  10. Jade does not have much resale value.  If your piece is nicely crafted, you might wish to visit some antique shops for a valuation.

Jewellery shops may ask you for cut-throat discounts.
