I will marry a greencard holder and not a U.S citizen

i will marry a greencard holder and not a U.S citizen. how many months specifically can i work here. i am already with her, and getting married soon, but she is only greencard holder?? do i need to back in my country and wait??

You should contact INS or speak with a lawyer. Also, you may want to post your question under "Immigration" instead of weddings.

How did you get into the country to begin with???  Are you on a travel visa?  A work visa?  Is the greencard permanent?  Are you here legally?  I really don't know your situation to be able to help you.  I think you are here on very tenuous grounds, and the greencard holder can't do a whole lot for you.
