The Dutch mentor has expressed that his side put in a better performance on the pitch as compared to the home side. However, his troops defended poorly that cost his side three crucial points.
“I think we were the dominant side and we had a lot of ball possession. We had many good opportunities as usual. We only defended poorly, which cost us the game”, De Boer was quoted as saying to the media.
