  2. people at the store will always help you... if u have a freind try his club... i use my dads cuz im as tall as him

  3. You can go to you local golf shop like GolfSmith or Golf Galaxy, they have lots of pre-owned iron sets. In golfsmith they have a golf lesson for $99 (4 lessons for 30 mins). The basic clubs you need are

    Driver

    3, 5 or 7 woods (Fairway Driver)

    5, 7 and 9 irons

    PW and SW

    Putter

  4. The question is can you play golf?

  5. Id go with a golf set for beginners.

Cheap clubs that work okay are at a big 5 like these dunlops which are probably $100

For some more expensive but better clubs go to your sport chalet and get Golden Bear for like $200.

This is just my opinion I used the first dunlop ones for about 2 years and now I just bought a new set (not a full set but different everything) for about $1000-$1200 and my game improved alot. Im very thankful for such a good beginner set because if you play alot and do some classes you'll love the game.

  6. You need irons, drivers, a sand wedge) and a putter.

The Irons that you will definitely need are 3 irons, 5 irons, 7 irons, and a 9 iron. You can also get the 4, 6, and 8 irons, but those are optional (in my opinion anyways, I only play with odd numbered ones)

You will need a Driver, a 3 wood (a woods a fancy name for a driver), and a 7 wood (woods with higher numbers are also known as "fairway drivers" because you can hit them when the balls on the fairway).

You need a sand wedge if you land one in a bunker.

Oh, and a putter. You don't want to put with your driver; I've done it, and it isn't easy.

  7. yea or use some1 elses to begin to see if you like the game because most courses dont let you play unless you carry a bag...also most courses rent clubs so you could try that too and ifg you like the game... then get some clubs of your own

  8. Before you buy make sure that you love the sport and are ready to commit. Start off with a medium line quality club and work you way up.     (You might even want to shop from the discount bin) Clubs really don't matter when your a beginner, unless your really competitive.

  9. Purchase a full set from a "play it again " sports or other used sports equipment retailer. That way you can get excellent quality clubs for a good price but also advice on how to upgrade later once your committed to playing the game and your game improves.

  10. get the cheapest lightest clubs you can. If you end up loving the game and wanting to play it all the time, you can get better ones.

  11. you can do what i did. i went to costco and bought a whole set there. i can return them if anything is wrong with them or whatever and they are prince which is a good brand and i took lessons and they instructor said the clubs were as good as any he'd ever had!

  12. If you are golf beginner, I suggest you choose pre-owned golf club for practice. There are many golf online shop. Such as

    http://www.ebay.com

    http://www.ebayoyo.com

    http://www.golfsmith.com

You need driver, fairway wood, wedge, iron set, hybrid, putter and some golf accessary, such as glove, shoe, bag,tee and so on.

Don't forget to take some golf course first. You can search on http://www.youtube.com. There are many vedios about how to swing and shot like professional.

    Good luck!
