  1. 1000 usd is not a bad wage in india, depending on where you live. If you think the salary is unfari by around 10-20%, wait one year, work for them for a year, and then try to negotiate. If it is UK based, and you show you have a good potential and are a good employee, then they will have plenty of room to accomodate you a raise.
