  1. No.  It is not government's job to punish us for driving gasoline vehicles. Artificially driving up the cost of energy severely hurts Americans, especially the poor, and kills American businesses, especially the small businesses.  Only an enemy would do that to us intentionally.

GW Bush has already given us the best alternative but Al Gore is trying to derail it.  Bush has worked with the EU to standardize hydrogen power, carbon-free energy.  I bet the newsies aren't telling you much about this...

  2. Al Gore is not in the government at all!!   You need to put down the bong, do you mean you wish Barack Obama would raise taxes?

  3. You want insight......well, how about stop pointing the figure at the president and put the blame where it really belongs. On your Congress. They have the power to pass , hold up and veto laws. They are the one's that have stood in the way of drilling for oil. We have never before needed to import the refined product gas but now we are up to 13% because they won't authorize building of new refineries. Bill Clinton himself could have helped but instead veto's the initiative in the 90's.

They've whined to big oil companies to do their part in finding new resources just to make themselves look good while no one bothered to ask the question...why would an oil company have to find a alternative source ? shouldn't that be another companies job ? after all..they are already selling a product that's sucessful. Even that big mouth, racist  Maxine Waters slipped up at the press conference and spelled out clearly that she was a liberal socialists thinking government should take over the oil industry....like government hasn't failed at everything they've had their greedy fingers involved in.

How about this for insight...stop demonizing the oil companies for doing their job as best they can despite congress's laziness and putting restrictions on them. How would you like to sell a legal product, have the government tell you where you can get resources then ping on you when you just can't supply as much as the demand all because of the governmental interferrence ?

Show me an alternative fuel that's efficient and can take the place of oil  before you cry about the price at the gas pump. The democratic congress did this through their inaction and stupidity, and when things get hot and chaos ensue's,..which they caused in the first place...they ride in as the great saviour claining they will help you out...they will make it better and alright. And i have no respect for the unintelligent American 's that actually fall for it every time. Government is the problem, not the cure.

The only thing i've seen come close to taking this country off it oil dependency realistically are nuclear reactors for city power and bioreactors which use Algea to produce biofuels.

Ethanol is inefficient and a waste of time, money and food.

Solar might also be a good supplement, but it can never compete large scale without lots of devoted real estate for it Its by and large only supplemental. Wind mills ? they have to slow them down so they don't act like bird choppers, and again the large real estate. So in all this mess, sure, some technologies work, some don't and should be kicked to the curb. We need to go large scale on the one's that do and throw the self righteous evniromentalists that get in the way under the buss.

  4. I wish I had a hummer h1 with a leaky gas tank and broken exhaust and I'd drive over your Eco friendly Prius or what not every day at noon

  5. If it is under the Democrats  they will tax us into poverty. Under they will take from the rich and give to the poor... Sorry to hear that U are rich...

  6. So far the democratic alternative fuel solution is corn ethanol.  It makes for high food prices and really doesn't do much good for the environment or national energy independence...  So much for alternative fuel solutions.

    What we need.

    1.  Energy conservation will reduce the price of oil immediately.

    2.  Drill here, drill now..  Include western oil shade development.  This will reduce the price rise caused by oil speculation.

    3.  Announce that we will reduce the strategic oil reserve by 50% over the next 5-6 years.

    4.  Announce programs to promote (1) wind energy, (2) solar energy, (3) natural gas and coal liquification, and (4) fuel cell development.  To make us energy independent in 10-15 years.

The idea of raising taxes as a means of fixing our drive to energy independence will not help that much.

  7. Why not an alternative for Al Gore's jet -

an older model Gulfstream which is not the most fuel efficient!

    O that's ok - - he buys carbon credits - - from his company

    and has made over $100 million off them - - - - -

we are in the wrong business

(would he have made that as President - - not)

  8. Sure, I love seeing the workers who ask, 'would you like fries with that'  walk.

I think it brings it all into balance.

  9. That's why he isn't President.  Enough people seen that he would ruin the US economy, distroy American business and make this country into a third world country, over his stupid notion of Man Made Global Warming.

  10. I wish Al Gore the hypocrit would just go away somewhere far far away on his green jet - and maybe we'd get lucky and it would crash in the artic and freeze not releasing any of that nasty oil or jet fuel into the environment.

BTW - who is Al Gore to tax us now?

    Answer  >>> NOBODY<<<

Exactly what credentials does he have to be an expert on environmental affairs?    Back in the late 70's early 80's we were headed for another ice age now it's global warming....

There are many great minds on both sides of this subject and I am happy to say that Al Gore is not one of them.

  11. Al Gore is a con-man and is reaping huge profits off of the global warming scam.

  12. Are you against alternative use of conventional energy ?Apparently, Big Al Gore is !Under the Clinton - Gore EPA-OBD II Annual Vehicle Emissions Inspection Law, all gasoline powered vehicles in the U.S.A. from 1996 to the present must operate at 14.7 parts of air to 1 part of fuel.Any change whatsoever, even if emissions are lowered, and fuel economy is increased, will result in a failed vehicle inspection.Gasoline can be safely converted into a clear dry vapor that is 100 parts of air to 1 part of fuel.Even the largest SUV could easily get 50 + MPG, with an actual increase in engine power, and a much longer lasting engine.I'm not the first to figure this out.Not by a long shot ! For proof, go to http://energy21.freeservers.com/bookrep.... and http://www.gasholemovie.com Then, do a search on [the late] Tom Ogle. And finally, the Book Title ' Black Gold Stranglehold '.Even if you don't believe any of this, the fact remains that it's illegal to even attempt to vaporize fuel on any vehicle 12 years old, or newer, thanks to this insane law that only benefits the big oil companies.I have tried repeatedly to contact Big Al to ask why he supports this suppression of vapor fuel technology. No reply.I'm not trying to sell anything, I just want to get the word out about the suppression of vapor fuel technology. And take a look at my Avatar. That is a photo of a device I have constructed that safely vaporizes gasoline. It's ignited, to prove to the " Experts " that it actually works. But again, it's illegal on any vehicle 12 years old, or newer, thanks to BIG AL !

  13. Yeah - what the h**l does Al Gore have to do with the government?  How would he be able to raise taxes?
