  1. I checked on trenitalia.com and it says there's no such station as Riva del Garda.  So I looked on the map and I see there's a town called Riva at the north end of Lago (lake) di Garda, so that's probably it, but it doesn't appear to have a train station.  You can take a train from Milano Centrale to Rovereto(not far from Riva), changing at Verona, and I feel sure they have buses from Rovereto.   From the airport (Linate or Malpensa) there are shuttle buses that go right near Milano Centrale (train station), and there's a train form Malpensa to the Metro station Cadorna, from where you'd need to take a subway to Centrale.

A little complicated, but take it easy and you'll get there.  The trains there are really nice.

  2. I hope you can read this paper (I'm sorry, in Italian)

In Riva del Garda there is no train station.

You must take the train in Milan and get off in Rovereto.

From Rovereto you get to Riva del Garda by bus.

You can find when in the site above.
