Question:

I wish i Was Skinny, or atleast not fat. How do I get that way?

being fat bothers me sometimes, but then doesn't bother me. Being fat runs in my family, and I want to be not fat/skinny/regular size. How can i get to do that?? I eat healthy, I am always walking, i swim, bike ride, walk, play basketball at home, and more. What Can I do to become not fat/skinny/regular size??

p.s. i also want to change because my mom says i'm fat(she is too), and I want to prove her wrong on soo many things.

  1. haha well.

    My mom went down froma size very big to 10, so maybe i just might help.

    First, we started eating salad, at least once a day, and if your going to lose weight, you cannot have lots of snacks, even though they taste very good. try the 100 packs, at the most.

    i lost some weight like that, and go to the gym every day for about 30 minutes. sorry if i couldnt help.

    and tell your mom to f off, for me.


  2. She should not be telling you your fat. I lost weight and i almost lost my boyfriend. He told me he was becomeing disgusted with the way I look. I wasnt eating and now I hear from other people that I look like c**p and am too bony and pale. Guess what they all say I was way better looking when i was heavier. so now i am trying to get the weight back. Dont worry about it. I am learning thin aint in anymore. LOVE YOURSELF THE WAY YOU ARE.

  3. walk every day at least 2 miles. I know someone who did that and lost alot of weight. Drink lots of water.  

  4. wow i cant believe your mom isn't being so supportive... just do what you do and if it isn't working in about 6 months it might not just be for you but keeping up the routine might just break the fatness in your families genes.

  5. Maybe you're not fat? It could just be muscle and your bone structure because you say you eat healthy, and you sound like you're pretty active.

    All the skinny people I know are couch potatoes with high metabolisms and/or b/c of their genetics and the way they were brought up (very controlled diets and small portions).  

    Keep eating healthy - no junk food, and if you eat carbs, work them off.  Exercise, and drink lots of water b/c sometimes you might think you're hungry when really you're just thirsty.

  7. Keep up a good healthy diet & keep exercising, join a program or fitness club.  

  8. Get out! Go have fun! Do you like to swim, ride bikes? ect? If you do, go do it!!! Everyone has SOMETHING they like to do, for me, it's swimming. And don't call yourself fat, because your not!

  9. Here is what you do- you get healthier!

    Eat 1,200 calories a day only(or around there)

    Drink lots of water it gives you good skin and helps you lose weight

    start an exercise routine- find something you like to do and burn off all the calories you've eaten.Like I like hip-hop dancing and gymnastics I do that everyday.

    Drink Green Tea(no Arizona Tea) sip this after every meal and it has amazing health benefits

    Give up soda and sweets-I know its hard but Im down to 1 soda a day and feel so much or energetic. They have homemade smoothies and juices that are delicious.  

    Also keeps a food journal- this way you will be more aware of what you ate,I recommend thedailyplate.com

  10. I used to be in that same situation too; playing lots of sports, and having plus size relatives. But one day, it hit me that I needed to stop putting it behind me and start actually doing something about it. So I stopped eating white foods (rice pasta, bread, anything white basically.) and started exercising at least 30 min. a day (during TV commercials, when bored, etc.) and eating lots of fruits andveggiess and drinking lots of water. Soon, I started seeing results! Hope I helped! :]
