I wish to go to London for college?

I want to be a doctor. I really want to go to London for college and grad school. I'm going to be a freshman in high school next year. I know it's kind of early to be thinking about this, but I want it so bad. I know I will be getting good grades, because I always have and I have to be the best in everything I do. I am highly competitive. I guess I should probably tell you where I live- Annapolis, Maryland. Yes, there are many schools around me that are good for medical school (John's Hopkins!) but I really want to get away from here when I leave for college. I want a break from this area! Can someone tell me the way to get into universities in London, because I don't understand the grading there in England nor anything about the system. Do they have the SAT as well? Also, what are some colleges in London? And grad schools?

Money will not be an issue, my grandparents have me covered.

Why would you want to go to London? I don't know anything about the reputations of the medical schools there, but I highly doubt they are any better than a school in the United States. I don't care how much money your grandparents have...going to medical school in a different country will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. How sure are you that they "have you covered"? Also, will you be prepared to live alone in a different country right out of high school for at least the following seven years? You will leave your friends and family behind. Then you would have to travel overseas every time you want to come home. What a pain in the a**. I think by the time you are a senior in high school you will have changed your mind. Consider going to an out-of-state school. This is America...you have tons of great options. By the way, I live in Bowie so I know all about wanting to get away from the area. However, going to London is taking it a little too far. Good luck
