I wish to go to manali and kullu from Delhi on may 16, how to plan ?

Yes, 6 days is sufficient.  Just take the bus up to the city you want to stay in.  There are lots of hotels all w/in walking distance and you can ask in Delhi as well.  Most good hotels will have a contact for you in either Kullu or Manali.  You may want to make your hotel reservations a bit in advance since May is peak travel time.  Best to shop around and ask lots of questions in Delhi so you don't have to waste time while in Manali/Kullu.

6 days r enuf to cover kullu manali...there r many govt and privet buses btwn the station...also taxis might help..
