  1. There have been cases of cordless 'phones causing interference to air traffic control systems, because they use an illegal frequency. Many of these 'phones aren't electrically safe (not tested either) and many contain lead (both illegal under safety rules).

I'd leave well alone, because if that is the case, you (not the manufacturer) would be in breach of the 1949 Wireless and Telegraphy Act and there is a hefty fine for this offence.

Plus you'd have your stock seized and destroyed being illegal.

Established companies have far more 'clout' then you would if things go wrong. The Chinese legal system is notorious for allowing blatant rip-offs to function, even of illegal.

  2. The best advice I can give is, "Don't".

You obviously have very little experience in the electronics trade, otherwise you wouldn't be asking questions here.  Importing electronics from abroad is a minefield.  Unless you can trust your supplier 100%, you WILL lose a lot of money.  That kind of trust takes years of experience to develop

Additionally, cordless phones and accessories are already imported and sold in the U.K. by large, well established companies.  They buy thousands at a time -  how do you think you will be able to compete with Currys, Comet, Argos, etc. on availability and price?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's the harsh reality of the situation.
