How much sheep manure should be added to malt combings in order to get the best compost? I have many tons of each on hand.

  1. 50/50 would be good..You know you have a gold mine on your hands with that much compost material..if you have a concrete slab or somewhere to pile this mixture where weeds and grass seed cannot contaminate it, then wet it down slightly every 2 or 3 days and turn it with a tractor..let it compost out and dry  somewhat..it would be a great seller to gardners and farmers..they in return cannot use this product straight for it will be too "sweet" and burn crops off..but it would be lovely for a organic compost added to thier present soil and "tooled " in

  2. I would compost the sheep manure and sell the combings as a high-protein animal feed.

About 2 parts sheep poo and 1 part combings would do, and make a very nitrogen-rich soil additive very quickly.

You can also spread them and plow them in if you have a large area to fertilize.
