  1. You don't have to eat fish and there are many other foods here in Japan not just fish and we don't make you eat it either.

  2. yes lots of fastfood resturants in Japan

  3. There are other stuffing inside sushi other than fish, like takuwan ( pickled radish), cucumbers, teriyaki chicken, raw beef and so on.

There are other dishes in Japan that has no fish in them, like gyudon, terriyaki chicken, sukiyaki ( without the fish), and so on.

They also have European restaurants and American fast food chains, Chinese restaurants, Korean restaurants and so on.

  4. That’s why I will never visit Germany, nothing but sausage and sauerkraut. That stuff is just too heavy to eat every meal.

  5. Wow, you know zero about Japan ! The Japanese have many more dishes than sushi ! They also eat beef, pork, chicken...

And there's always McDonald's and KFC's you can go to.

Did you know only about 10% of Japanese are over-weight, compared to over 50% with us Americans !

  6. I don't eat any sea food and I was able to make it okay in Japan. It can be hard at times because many things actually have fish in them but you you can almost always find something like Om-Rice (Omellet with rice and meat or veggies inside), Okonomiyaki (Cabbage and batter plus other ingredients) kind of like a pancake...

In most cities you can find food from around the world, Italian, French, Chinese, Indian etc.

Conveni stores like 7-11, Lawsons etc. sell things like Tomato Pasta you just need to microwave.

If that fails like other said you can find lots of McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc.

Plan B would be go to the grocery store and do some shopping. Buy some pan (Bread), snacks, etc...

  7. yakitori

    okonomiyaki

    sukiyaki

    yakisoba

    onigiri

    nattou

    tamago

    ramen

    tonkatsu

    soba

    udon

These are just a few that come to mind that do not necessarily have any fish. Of course this isn't including all the international food that is common and more than readily available in Japan.

If you have an underdeveloped palate you can always count on Mcdonald's, KFC, Wendy's, Mos Burger, Freshness Burger, Mister Donut, Krispy Kreme and Starbucks to be right around the corner.

By the way, sushi doesn't equal fish.
