basicly i want to make my back yard into a campsite can any one tell me how i can do that in detailed inscructions including what i need in terms of gear and all that stuff

Going back to my days at summer camp, all you'd need is a camp fire pit with stones around it, the area cleared of brush and flammable materials, and stones, logs, or benches for sitting and a wooden platform for each tent, preferably hidden amongst the trees. Perhaps some sort of steel box for storing food vs. rodents and other wildlife. A canoe or rowboat for your pond would be awesome, and stock it with local fish if it isn't already. Setting up a tent permanently wouldn't be the best idea because the material will deteriorate in the sun. I assume you don't want to build a little cabin.
