I woke up this morning w/ a pain.?

I woke up with this pain in my right shoulder blade. I think it's a pinched nerve because I can't turn my head no more than half way to the right of me and raising my arm makes it hurt too. So yeah, it pretty much feels like a burning pinch. I've been trying to stretch to get it out, but it's not working.

Suggestions on what to do?

Nerve pain can feel like it's burning but you'd feel a stabbing pain like someone poked you with a red hot ice pick first and then burn.

I'm disabled due to nerve damage

  3. It does sound a bit like a pinched nerve. Those pains are so annoying, huh? What I do is heat up a towel and place it on my shoulder blade when that happens. It should usually relieve some of the inflammation, and loosen up those tight muscles that might push against the nerve. Good luck! I'm sorry if this won't help, I'm only 13, so I don't know very much about all of this.

  4. it's no pinched nerve.  You just slept in a bad position, and you muscle is sore.  just take some tylenol, use warm packs, take a hot bath or shower, get a massage and it'll go away in 2 days.
