Question:

I woke up to this bug on my wall(pic included), how can I kill it?

I normally would have captred it and let it out, but it seems like it doe'nt want to leave.

Its called a Fork-tailed Bush Katydid

There was one of those in my room last week and my dad got the broom and smushed his @ss!..just get the broom and hit it. I know they are fast and can fly and stuff, just wait until he lands on something and as soon as h**l lands on a surface hit it! Don't spray him with bug spray because that'll make him fly super duper fast.

Maybe you could put fly sticky tape on places where its likely to land or find an appropriate bug spray.

It;s a harmless katydid. Carefully pick it up and put it outside.

Try to trap it in a cup let it go. It needs to be outside. Or call 411 and ask for pest control then tell the guy you dont want to kill it. Try it.

if it was to quick how did u manage to take a picture of it....any way you could just get a spray bottle and light the tip of it making it a blow torch and to flame the bug!!!

It's very rare lesser known green bug thingy and a protected species ....There is a 5 year jail term for killing then. Open a window and free it
