It hurts quite a bit when I turn my head left. I can more or less center my head, but in no way can get my head left, because it hurts... What should I do to heal this? I really don't want to go to the doctor...

  1. I would try a chiropractor. My sister in Seattle sees Dr Walia. His website is www.drjaswalia.com Maybe you could email him with some questions or just get a better idea of what they can do for you. Good luck, I hope it gives you some relief!

  2. No, you've just slept "funny"

  3. I agree with number 1.......Try a hot tub bath as well!      That relaxes all the tension that has built up.

  4. Try getting in the Shower with very warm water and turn it as far as you can either way to stretch out the pain. I'm sure its nothing serious, but if it doesn't go away in a couple days go to doctor. Good Luck!

  5. Sounds like you "slept on it wrong".  Sometimes the position you sleep in can overextend the tendons.  I usually take 2 aspirin (whatever) and it's better by next day.  Ice packs could help.
