Question:

I won a $1,357 shopping spree, is it a scam?

Chad Franklin Suzuki sent me a carbon copy letter in the mail from a test marketing program, stating that I had won this shopping spree(no purchase necessary). So I called the number that they had on the letter to reserve my prize. When I called the guy asked me for my reservation code and told me what I had won. Then he said all I had to do was come to Chad Franklin Suzuki and pick up my prize( no purchase necessary) and that I didnt even have to talk about car stuff. All that I have to do is come and claim the prize and leave gauranteed. Its through a "Test Market Processing-CFS by Chad Franklin Suzuki". Tell me what you think of this or someone who has experienced it.

  1. It sounds like one, but I'd call their bluff if I were you. Get the name of the person who told you you didn't have to talk about car stuff. Ask him for his driver's license number or employee identification number. Then go to the store and tell them you want your shopping spree. If they try to sales pitch you, tell them the info you collected and ask if they have been practicing false advertising. If they say the spree is at their dealership and they have no cars under that amount, make them go get car parts, since they do sell them at dealerships, or install extra features on your car.

The looks on their faces will be worth the extra effort.

  2. it sounds like a scam to me

u get there to get your money and there going to try and get u to buy a car and u will save that much money..(idk)

  3. I mean what do you have to lose? if you dont have to give them any credit card #'s or do stupid surveys that waste your time and ect, and the place is near you just go there & show them its you and be on ur way with the money!! lol if once you get there and they tell you, you need to sign up for this and this and do this or that, than just leave! Dont ever sign anything unless you read it over COMPLETLEY!!! Dont even skip a line!!! But I never done anything like this before... Maybe ask an attory for their advice, some are just willing to give you an answer over the phone without cost... Best of luck!!!!

  4. Sounds like a scam to me.

  5. Sounds like a scam to me. Be VERY careful.

  6. Do a google search of "jeremy franklin suzuki sucks" and look at that sight.  You may have "won" a $1357 shopping spree but the shipping will actually be more.  Yes you will pay shipping of more than $1357 for junk products.......And trust me, I work at a dealership and we even got one of these.  Just read the fine print.  And if you are still not convinced go to "kctalk.com" and look at the Chad Franklin thread.  It's 15 pages of disgruntled customers.

  7. yes it is unless you get it in poerson dont give out personal info

  8. If you don't to pay ANY fees (processing, handling, registration, etc) and NO PURCHASE is NECESSARY, why not go find out. No doubt they will try to SELL you a Suzuki but just go and get your prize and say "THANK YOU" and leave. Just remember, don't pay ANYTHING for a "FREE" prize.
