  1. Generally, with state and federal taxes, you will get half of the money.

It's taxed as ordinary income, so it depends upon your other income and your marginal rate.  Without knowing your total tax situation it's not possible to say exactly.  If you're in a 15% bracket, it would be $750 and if you're in a 25% bracket, it would be $1,250.  That's for Federal.  OK income tax rate tops out at 6.65% and that kicks in at a pretty low level so you'll probably max out on that at $332.50
