  1. It is decided on a case by case basis.

    We can't tell you if they will appeal this decision or not.

    However, it sounds like you have an attorney.  Ask him. That's what you pay him for.

  3. I believe that they have 30 days to appeal the order.  I would check with your attorney regarding this.  If you don't hear from the insurance company such as a check or a letter than it's likely that they will appeal.  

    It's likely that they are running through the numbers to see if an appeal is necessary.

  4. They'll appeal if they think that the judge/jury made a wrong decision, or a pity decision.  If not, they won't.
