I wonder, do elephants Sweat?

Like, when they run, move and do other thing's do they sweat?

    when they sweat the put mud on them-self to block the seseantd then they spash water on them selves.

  4. Although many mammals do sweat, most do not have enough sweat glands to cool their whole body like humans do. Take a dog for example, which needs to pant to cool down. Elephants probably have sweat glands but don't have enough for their huge bodies to cool down. This is why they flap their ears and take mud and water baths, using these as thermo-regulation similar to the way we would use a fan or cold water to cool down. So yes they sweat but it doesn't help much
