  1. No. Most of those factors are controlled by genetics. However height and weight may be the result of the kind of nutrition the person gets.

  2. Yes, it does. For example, the African Americans originated from a tropical climate and they have heavier skin pigmentation to lessen the rate of skin cancer. This genetic was eventually passed down throughout the race. Asians, especially those living in the north where it's colder, have more fat in their eyelids so as to protect them from the cold. However, Asians down southeast or south like Indians, etc. deal with a tropical climate, so many have double eyelids, and they have dark skin to shield them agains the sun. Hair colour is also due to the climate- Caucasians have a wide variety as they live in colder places whereas Asians have mostly black hair, some with the occasional brown or light brown- it's the pigmentation that our bodies carry.

However, weight and height is caused mostly by diet, and these traits have infiltrated the general genetics and been passed down through the generations. For example, many Koreans are now growing taller on average due to their consumption of healthy foods and meat that helps them to grow. This slips into their bodily system, their genetics, and is carried down thereafter. Some races may be muscular and stocky but short due to the type of food they consume, be it based on personal preference or religion or culture.

  3. DNA ,food, exercise,

  4. Uh, no.

Our genes determine things like eye and hair color and height, and, to some extent, weight.

It's simply not true that a person who moves to another country gets taller or shorter, or that their eyes or hair change color -- nor do their children get some eye or hair color because of where their parents live.

Is everyone identical in all these ways in the country you live in? Because that would be odd.
