I wonder when the sale in Munich starts and ends?

Fixed sales periods at the end of winter and summer (WInterschlussverkauf &Sommerschlussverkauf) no longer exist.  These days, each store can decide for itself when to put its items on sale. And the date they pick depends largely on what the weather was like. I.e. after a cold summer, there's likely to be a sale in eraly autumn to get rid of all the summery clothes. Vice versa for a warm winter.
