  1. If you had pink eye, your eyes would be itching like crazy.

The solution you are using could be the problem.  Maybe try different solutions.

Did you wear the contacts exactly the way the doctor told you to, for as many hours as he said?

Lastly, yes, there has been cases where a person is allergic to the material in the contact itself.

Best to contact your doctor. Your eyes are important.

  2. They will take a little bit of getting used to, as the moment i have had my contacts for about 8 months, my right one made my eye really sore so i cant wear it, i only wear one. When you get them only wear them for a hour at a time, and only wear them at home to begin with. I had terrible trouble to begin with, my eyes would get really red and tired.

Keep wearing them, a hour to start with and than increase the time as the week goes on.

Good luck and be persistant- they make a heap of difference.

  3. You may not be receiving oxygen in  your eye. Use lubrication drops to settle down the red. If they still are red after a few minutes, take your contacts out immediately. You may be allergic to your contacts, they may be dirty, or the solution is irritating you. You should also tell your optician about it right away so that they can switch your contacts with another brand right away.
