Is that bad? I feel like its not very good. On my last paycheck I made $357, and taxes took out $66, I get paid every two weeks, so i have about 60 hours on each paycheck, usually a few hours more. I work as a receptionist sort of, I'm more like the back up receptionist. But yeah, is that really bad pay?

I am only 20 hours a paycheck off from working full time..

  1. This is not just a matter of pay.....is this your first job?  are you still in school ?  are you a high school graduate?  Are you living at home and being supported by your parents?  If this is your first job and you have no experience and are still in high school then this is not too bad.  Be alert for openings for better jobs.  Avoid taking on debt.  Buy only the things you can afford from your current paycheck.  You seem to have a good education so you will be able to do better soon (although this is a difficult time to be looking for a job)

  2. If you think your not getting payed enough then try to get a different job but don't quit your first because if you don't get in the job you applied to then your pretty much screwed....if the job you applied to pays a lot and they approve you quit your first one and go on to second one

  3. Well, it sounds like a minimum wage job and that's what you're making (depending on what state you live in, it could be below minimum wage).

  4. it depends.. If you are younger and are in school I don't see a problem with that, but if you're 25 and living on your own then i see a financial problem... If your spouse makes good money then you would be okay... There are many factors to consider... But I assume you are younger and probably still in school or going to college I think you will be fine just don't get a car loan or something.. Less bills more money in your pocket...
