Make you Boss like you.  I mean make him happy also make customer happy so they might said good thing about you to the boss.

discuss that your interested in learning the ropes as  a supervisor. make that clear to your boss. show up on time, learn extra things, volunteer to pick up shifts and train new people, this will help u with ur sdteps to being promoted. taking initiative is always a postive thing.
