  1. Depends, what is your ultimate career goal?

Neither are very high up on the food chain, but they each have their selling points.  Do you like working with kids?  Are you planning on staying in the restaurant industry?

I don't know how much Best Buy pays, but you will definitely learn (if you keep your eyes open and try) about all the latest and greatest electronics... and possibly get discounts on shopping (but I don't know).

Really, you need to think about what your long term goals are.  Job hopping doesn't look good on a resume, but calculated moves do.  And if you can get your current boss to write a recommendation when you leave, the relatively short (6 mo.) stint won't be a drawback.

Are you attending school?  Will Best Buy work with your schedule?

It doesn't hurt to apply, because you don't have to quit your current job until you have a new job.

  2. Wow you must either really love kids or have nerves of iron to work at Chuck E. Cheese! That is one place I'll try to never end up eating at, well maybe one day if I ever get married and have children otherwise I'll steer clear of a restaurant of screaming kids running amok all over while I am trying to have a relaxing meal.

I think Best Buy would be better to work at personally.
