I work at a attraction park. Someimes when the line gets long people look bored and it gets hot what can i do?

Sometimes the line gets long, and it's hot, what can I do so people are not bored?

Talk to them!  Don't only talk to one person/family though, go down the line and talk to them.  Talk to multiple families at once.  Get the entire line involved in something.  The whole point is to make people forget that they are waiting in line for a long period of time. Don't mention how long the line is, that only reminds them of how long they have already waited.  It sounds too easy, but really....just talk to people.  Talk to them and have fun.  If you're having a good conversation, then chances are that those guests aren't even thinking about how long they have been waiting and that is exactly what you want.  Good luck!

Try to engage them, "Are you ready to ride the bla bla????!!!!"

Tell them that the line from this point is only 21 minutes long!!!!  Etc.

This used to happen at Australia's Wonderland... we loved it when the park hosts would put on a little show for the people in the line - things like juggling, acrobatics etc. If you don't have any circus skills you could get everyone involved in a kind of group game like ask them questions and get them to yell the answer, there are so many things!!
