I think they might have a nest in this bush, and the spigot i use to turn on the hose must be close to their nest. I don't want to hurt them, but i would like to get rid of them so I can do my job without fear of dive bombing furiously cheeping robins. PLEASE HELP ME!

  1. take an umbrella with you that way they attack the umbrella

and wait till the baby birds leave their nests

  2. You're right about the nest, and it probably contains chicks. The robins cannot move the nest. Could you possibly use a different spigot, longer hose or other means of avoiding the area until the chicks are fledged and ready to leave. This would take less than two weeks usually.
