so I work at a local grocery store as the department lead. Currently, the workplace has been drastically cutting hours. Today, a sanitation audit went through and I guess we didn't do to hot.
In my defense, with the hours being cut it's hard to stay on top of some of the cleaning tasks which are given on top of the general duties which must be done every night. Most of the nights, it's just myself & one other person to close and we are racing to get everything done before the scheduled close time. I told them I don't mind that on some days there may be extra stuff that needs to be done but that it's impossible to get all this stuff done with the hours being cut and they tell me I just need to delegate responsibilities more effectively.
Back to today - When I asked my department manager how the audit went, she replied " maybe you should try harder on finding a new job"
I just can't take it anymore, what am I do do?
