I work at a local grocery store and it feels like it's everybody against me from management, what am I to do?

so I work at a local grocery store as the department lead. Currently, the workplace has been drastically cutting hours. Today, a sanitation audit went through and I guess we didn't do to hot.

In my defense, with the hours being cut it's hard to stay on top of some of the cleaning tasks which are given on top of the general duties which must be done every night. Most of the nights, it's just myself & one other person to close and we are racing to get everything done before the scheduled close time. I told them I don't mind that on some days there may be extra stuff that needs to be done but that it's impossible to get all this stuff done with the hours being cut and they tell me I just need to delegate responsibilities more effectively.

Back to today - When I asked my department manager how the audit went, she replied " maybe you should try harder on finding a new job"

I just can't take it anymore, what am I do do?

Well if the management is that irresponsible then i would suggest talking to someone higher up on the grocery store food chain. How about the person in charge of the whole district? If that doesn't work, try as hard as you can to find a new job. While your trying to find a new job, just don't give in to her childish ways. Show her sticks and stones (sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me) and alas, if that doesn't work then quit and hope for the best. Hope this helped! (^-^)

hi,l can understand your pain.Jobs r getting like this i think u should look for a new job cos this  is not good wat they r doing, If ecommerce interests you: you much talk with a couple I know and see if things work out for you to work with them.  They can give you all the details.  You can go to their website www.MakeSmartChoice.com and click on the link at the bottom of the page “Contact Us” and someone will contact you with in 24 hours.  I personally know the couple and am a customer of theirs.  I know they are doing very well and are very happy with the business setup and the people they work with.  I love their products form a customer’s stand point and would never switch back to regular store brands ever. Sounds like they are trying to get you to quit. Ya might want to take the advice and start looking. The bad thing about people in the workforce today is you really have no rights. If they do not want you there even though they hired you and should work with you, they can get rid of you at any time for any reason and do not even need a reason.

Start looking!!
