I work at a restaurant that has a Friday fish fry and people always ask what the difference beer battered and breaded fish. I know what the difference is (what I like more) but how should I describe it.

  1. Breaded, is a drier coat, beer battered wet. I prefer breaded. Live here in Florida, so cook lots of fish.


  2. Beer battered is more tasty.  The beer imparts a delicious flavor to the fish and batter.

  7. i would say that while both are fried so both are greasy, the beer batter is a thicker denser and sometimes heavier coating..
