I work at hollister, can i ask for more hours,i work part-time,and get paid 7.25?

this week i work 4 hrs, and the other two days are call-ins if they need me. people that work at hollister can answer this/or ex-employees

You can talk to the person who makes the scheduling,  but there's really nothing anyone can do about it.  Stores get a certain amount of task hours for the week to give out to everyone and most of the time it's not enough.  That's why you hear everyone talking about the store being over/under hours.  Every time the store is over/under hours for the week they get points deducted (don't ask about points I have no idea what they are either, lol)  

If they are running over hours for the week, they wont call anyone in unless someone doesn't show up and they really need someone.  If they're under hours which is VERY rare they'll call everyone and their momma's to come in and "work" which is more like BSing around for a few hours making free money (I really wish we had more weeks like that, lol)
