I work for starbucks?

do they pay $8 an hour?

In Northern California it's $9.00/hr plus tips. I assume it's similar elsewhere.

(By the way, I've never heard of any new Starbucks barista earning $15.00/hr... even if you're shift manager you don't make close to that.)

Our manager on the other side of town give $15 an hour.

I think that might be the starting pay, depending on the type of job you have at Starbucks. The longer you work there the more money you earn.
