you need to go to Manchester it is a real good place to go it has museums,pubs,nightclubs and virtually anything you need

I like Manchester. It might get a load of bad press, but so does any major city.

There's a lot to do, and the architecture is far nicer than Birmingham's (I live in both cities- that's not just a throw away comment)

It's definitely more of a '24 hour' city than other places- only London beats it for that. With the advent of the 24 hour drinking law, and the students, there's never a point where you can't get a bus or a taxi.

It has a lot of commercial 'high street' shops, but thankfully its also managed to retain some of its unique independent stores.

I went to Manchester this weekend! It was amazing. I would reccommend it to anyone. The shops are good, The hotels are good, there were lots of clubs, bars & resteraunts.

The travel lodge was also good if you need accommodation
