i work in dubai for 1yr and go for my annual vacation in my country, but then i wasnt been able to go back to dubai because of some family emergency. it has been 8 months and now iam planning to go back in dubai to work again but in different company however i was'nt been able to process the cancellation of my visa from my recent company.How many months is the ban for my case..can i still go back ? iam not aware with the procedure pls advice.

i dont know how long u will be banned for it depends on yr job, what u did etc etc and how lenient yr employer is. u need to give yr passport and labour card if u have it to yr sponsor to get it cancelled then u will know the length of ban u have, dont try to go back without these formalities being done.

Once you complete six consecutive months out of country, your visa will be automatically canceled. Then the normal 6 months employment visa ban period will starts. So you are out of country for 8 months (your normal ban period started and 4 more months remaining).

But, your visa on your passport should be officially canceled to get a new visa. And also, if the company request any ban on you in MOL is unknown. Even though there is chances, but only once you get canceled the visa on your passport.

Immediately contact with the UAE Embassy / Consulate in your country.
