  1. A cheaper way, but slightly longer way from Iselin to Greenwich, would be taking the Garden State Parkway all the way to the end and proceed on the Tappan Zee Bridge.  You'll pay 3 tolls on the GSP, totals $1.05.  The toll on the TZB is $4.28 on E-ZPass ($4.50 cash).  By taking the TZB, you will only pay $5.33 in tolls compared to $9.13 on the GWB/I-95 combo. ($8 at the GWB, $1.13 e-z pass discount on the toll on I-95.

-Simply take the GSP North to the end.  The GSP turns into the NY Thruway.  After the NJ-NY state border, keep in the right lane to exit for the Tappan Zee Bridge. Follow I-287 until it ends at I-95.  As soon as you enter I-95, you will see signs welcoming you into Connecticut.

I live in Northern NJ and this the way I prefer to get to CT, especially since this bypasses NYC completely- plus it saves you on tolls and possibly gas since you do not wait in traffic as much.
