  1. no

  2. It depends. Do you work that time voluntarily?

Have you made it clear that you're exceeding part time?

  3. Call an attorney and ask them.

  4.     sue them.you should kiss there feet.

  5. Do you get paid for the 40 hrs you work?

  6. Gawd I want to really know the answer to this.

My boyfriend would work 55 to 60 hours a week and was still considered part time. And then when he got promoted they didn't even get him in the system until a month later- thusly he didn't get the raise until a month later even though he was doing the harder work...

  7. WOAH. yeah, you should definitely contact an attorney or someone because thats considered full-time hours and if youre only getting paid for part-time (a lot of companies pay more per hour if you're full-time) then you should definitely get some legal action going.

  8. Why would you sue them? Jut tell them to cut your hours back if thats what you want. Why is everyone so eager to sue.

  9. I don't think you can sue, but you could notify the wage and hour division  in your state. The company is most likely doing this so they will not have to pay benefits for you. They might be paying less for things like workmens comp and other such items like insurance by refering to you as part time. You can find the number for the wage and hour division under goverment in your local phone book.

  10. do they have you strapped to a chair?

you can leave any time you like i'm guessing.

you shouldn't complain many of the "full time" folks where i work are only getting 20 hours a week.
